TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 30/08/26
THE TERMS. YES, WE HAVE THEM.
These terms explain who we are, how our website works and what happens when you order something from us. Mostly mayonnaise, at the moment.
Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these terms limits the legal rights you have as a consumer.
1. WHO WE ARE
This website is operated by KeyFit AI, trading as No Nasties.
Our details are:
Legal name: KeyFit AI
Trading name: No Nasties
Business structure: LIMITED COMPANY
Company number: 16957983
Registered office or principal business address: Mount Houlditch Farm, Toadpit Lane, Ottery St Mary, Devon
When these terms use “No Nasties”, “we”, “us” or “our”, they mean the business identified above.
2. WHEN THESE TERMS APPLY
These terms apply when you:
visit or use our website;
buy products from us;
contact us about an order;
submit a review or other content; or
otherwise use services provided through our website.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
If you are buying for business purposes rather than mainly for personal use, please contact us because different terms may apply.
3. OUR PRODUCTS
We try to describe and photograph our products accurately.
However:
colours and appearance may vary slightly between screens;
natural ingredients may produce small variations between batches;
packaging may be updated;
photographs may include serving suggestions or props that are not supplied; and
minor recipe changes may occasionally be necessary.
Any material change affecting ingredients, allergens, quantity or the nature of a product will be reflected in the information provided before purchase.
The product you receive should match its description in all material respects.
4. INGREDIENTS, ALLERGENS AND STORAGE
Food should be food. It should also be labelled properly.
Ingredients and allergen information will be displayed on the relevant product page before you complete your purchase and supplied again on or with the product when it is delivered.
Allergens will be emphasised as required by law.
Always:
read the product label before eating;
follow the storage instructions;
check the use-by or best-before date;
refrigerate the product after opening where instructed; and do not rely solely on photographs, social-media posts or previous packaging.
Recipes and manufacturing arrangements can change. If you have an allergy or intolerance and need clarification, contact us at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] before ordering.
5. PLACING AN ORDER
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in your basket under these terms.
After ordering, you should receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean we have accepted it.
A contract is formed when we send confirmation that your order has been accepted or dispatched.
Please check your order details carefully. If anything is wrong, contact us as quickly as possible at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL].
6. WHEN WE MAY REFUSE OR CANCEL AN ORDER
We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch if:
a product is unavailable;
payment cannot be authorised;
pricing or product information contains an obvious error;
we suspect fraud, misuse or unlawful activity;
delivery is not possible to the address provided;
an order exceeds any stated quantity limits; or
accepting the order would breach a legal or regulatory requirement.
If payment has already been taken, we will refund the affected amount using the original payment method.
7. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
Prices include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and any other unavoidable charges will be shown before you place your order.
We may change prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
Payment is processed securely through [PAYMENT PROVIDER, FOR EXAMPLE STRIPE]. We do not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details.
8. DELIVERY
We currently deliver to [DELIVERY AREA].
Estimated delivery times and charges will be displayed at checkout or in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees, but we will take reasonable steps to deliver within the stated period. Unless another timeframe has been agreed, goods should be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by law.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you identified to receive them.
If a parcel is delayed, lost or damaged, contact us at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL]. We may ask for photographs of the parcel and product so we can investigate without conducting a full mayonnaise inquest.
9. CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER BEFORE DISPATCH
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel an order.
We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee changes or cancellation after processing or dispatch has begun.
If we cannot stop the order, the returns provisions below will apply.
10. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
For qualifying online purchases, consumers generally have 14 days after receiving goods to tell the retailer that they wish to cancel.
To request a return, contact [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] and include your order number.
Products must remain unopened, sealed, unused and stored appropriately.
For food-safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept a change-of-mind return for a product after its seal has been broken. Cancellation rights may also not apply to products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
After notifying us of a qualifying cancellation, you must return the goods within the legally applicable period. Unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are normally responsible for return postage.
Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method. Where legally required, this will include the basic outbound delivery charge but not any additional amount paid for an enhanced delivery service.
See our Shipping & Returns Policy for practical return instructions.
11. DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
Your products must be:
as described;
of satisfactory quality; and
fit for their intended purpose.
If something arrives damaged, faulty, unsafe, materially different from its description or simply not what you ordered, contact us promptly at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL].
Please include:
your order number;
a description of the problem;
photographs where reasonably possible; and
details of the affected batch or best-before date.
We may offer an appropriate refund, replacement or other remedy.
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.
12. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
Promotions may have separate conditions, including:
start and end dates;
product exclusions;
minimum order values;
limits per person or household; and
restrictions on combining offers.
We may withdraw or refuse a promotion where it has expired, been misused or is affected by an obvious error.
13. OUR WEBSITE
We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or completely free from technical faults.
You must not:
interfere with the website or its security;
introduce malicious software;
attempt unauthorised access;
scrape or copy the website for commercial purposes without permission;
use the website fraudulently or unlawfully; or
impersonate another person.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The No Nasties name, branding, packaging, copy, photography, graphics, website design and other original content belong to us or are used under licence.
You may view and share ordinary links to our public website for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, modify, sell, license or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
Please do not nick the branding. Coming up with it took ages.
15. REVIEWS AND CONTENT YOU SUBMIT
If you submit a review, photograph, suggestion or other content, you confirm that:
it is truthful and reflects your genuine experience;
you have the right to submit it;
it does not infringe another person’s rights;
it is not defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful; and
it does not contain malicious code or undisclosed advertising.
You keep ownership of your content, but you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt it for operating and promoting No Nasties.
We may moderate or remove content that breaches these terms. We will not deliberately alter a review in a way that changes its meaning.
16. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
We do not exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded; or
breach of your statutory consumer rights.
If we breach these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that was a foreseeable result of that breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you use products for commercial purposes, we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profits, revenue, contracts, opportunity or goodwill, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
17. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not responsible for delays caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control.
If such an event materially affects your order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the disruption. Your legal rights remain unaffected.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms to reflect changes to:
the law;
our products or services;
our business practices; or
the way the website operates.
The terms applying to an order are normally those in force when the order was placed.
The date at the top tells you when this page was last updated.
19. IF PART OF THESE TERMS IS INVALID
If a court or relevant authority finds that part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
20. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the law of ENGLAND AND WALES.
If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live and may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
